I've been in Dublin for a full 24 hours now and it's been interesting thus far.
The plane ride went smoothly though I got almost no sleep. I rode on the top level of a double decker bus from the airport to the city center and I think I got off at the wrong stop but I made it to my hostel anyway. I couldn't get into my room until the afternoon but here is a picture of it. There are 10 beds in all.

Yesterday I walked around the city, sticking mostly to the closest things around the center. I went to see Trinity College, the Temple Bar district (which is just full of pubs so is actually really boring to just walk around and see), and walked around O'Connel street which is full of shops and restaurants. I saw some of the other big, old buildings too like the Bank of Ireland and the Custom House (which my hostel is right across the street from). I walked across Ha'penny bridge a couple of times too.
Walking around by myself is lonely but then I get to find cool things like this statue. Two girls in my dorm room are from Croatia and they are super nice.
Today I'm currently visiting the Dublin castle (which has free wifi, woo!) and then will be going to two cathedrals and St. Stephens Green for sure. Lots of walking to fit in before I start touring the rest of Ireland tomorrow.
